This is a 14k yellow gold sweet heart shaped locket With an 18" Gold chain. This was bought for my daughter from my mom from blue Nile diamonds and fine jewelry, however my daughter does not like lockets so instead of sending this back I decided to go ahead and list this for all of my listians for Christmas. This will make an excellent Christmas gift for either your wife, your mother or one of your daughters.
This is a 21 day auction and I am shipping this anywhere in the US for free however I will not ship this outside of the US including Mexico or Canada I will however if you use the 'get it now' I will ship this to Canada for free. I ship from a no smoking home and will ship this item on Monday November 12th or Friday November 16th following the end of this auction. This will be shipped in plenty of time for Christmas so listians everywhere get out your credits and bid on this very beautiful 14 k Yellow gold sweet heart locket with an 18" gold chain.

Yes it does open, one of the photos has the locket opened and in the jewelry box is a photo of the template used to size a photo in the locket.

are there any markings or stamped marks anywhere on either the locket or chain? if so what does it read exactly, thanks

Yes there are two stamped markings, one on the locket and one on the chain. Both stamped markings are stamped 14k. I do not have a camera that can take a really good picture of the stamped markings since they are small. I had to use my jeweler a eye to see them. The one stamp is on the tab where the lobster claw attaches too and the other stamped marking is on the loop of the locket where the chain slides through. Again, the markings are 14k.

"THEY ARE NOT 14kGF or 14kHGE? These stand for GV (Gold Filled) and HGE (Heavy Gold Electroplated)
