The listing, ANTIQUE Ship POSTCARD S.S. China 1906 UNDIVIDED BACK has ended.
Up for bid is an antique postcard of the SS China.
The S.S. China was commissioned in the 1880s by the Pacific Mail Steamship Company, to carry mail and passengers from its home port of San Francisco to Asia. The ship was sold for scrap in the 1920s.
This card was posted in 1906 and has an undivided back. The stamp has been removed, but it caused no damage to the card front. There is a mark on the front where the card was in an album (album bleed). Pretty good condition for over 100 years old!
I have several nice old postcards up this week, so please check them out if this is your area of interest!
