The listing, Filigree vintage brooch,Unmarked has ended.
It has one little dark ball gem missing twords the left middled.Free tracked shipping I'm no jeweler but it looks 10 kt to me .It could be 9 kt ,It could be gold filled or plated .I put the results in photos as part of the description for you to be the judge.Clear stones & dark gems .They tested faux diamonds .The dark gems might have a dark reddish tone in sunlight.Any information is appreciated if you know about this brooch.
Like you requested I will post my opinion on this piece. Looking at the acid test, it’s not real gold. The acid has eaten at the sample and you can see gold particles floating in a swirl pattern, this result means it’s gold plated. It’s definitely vintage, they made these type of pins in the 60’s and revived them again in the 80’s. Since it’s unmarked I can’t pin its origin down with 100% certainty, but my educated guess is that it hails from either Germany or it’s Czech. I am a retired Jeweler and Gemologist and my specialty was Antique Jewelry. Hope that helps.
