Dear Lord, thank you for being the one to fight for me always. I'm not able to defend myself; I'm not able to do anything by my own means—and you have not asked me to! Help me to sit faithfully and wait for you, resting in the strength that you alone provide. I love you, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen

Lord,
May nothing separate me from you today. Teach me how to
choose only your way today so each step will lead me closer
to You. Help me walk by the Word and not my feelings.
Help me to keep my heart pure and undivided. Protect me
from my own careless thoughts, words, and actions. And
keep me from being distracted by MY wants, MY desires,
MY thoughts on how things should be. Help me to embrace
what comes my way as an opportunity... rather than a
personal inconvenience. And finally, help me to rest in the
truth of Psalm 86:13, “Great is your love toward me.” You
already see the ways I will fall short and mess up. But right
now, I consciously tuck your whisper of absolute love for
me into the deepest part of my heart. I recognize your love
for me is not based on my performance. You love me warts
and all. That’s amazing. But what’s most amazing is that the
Savior of the world would desire a few minutes with me this
morning. Lord, help me to forever remember what a gift it is
to sit with you like this. Amen.

The salvation prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. Come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Now, help me to live for you the rest of this life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

A salvation prayer, known by many Christians as a "Sinners Prayer," is a prayer one would say to repent from sin, ask God for forgiveness, confess belief in Jesus Christ, and accept him as Lord and Savior. Saying a salvation prayer is the first step in your relationship with God.

If you believe the Bible offers truth about the way to salvation, but you have not taken the step to become a Christian, it's as simple as praying this prayer. You can pray by yourself, using your own words. There is no special formula. Just pray from your heart to God, and he will save you. If you feel lost and don’t know what to pray, here’s a salvation prayer that you can follow:

Prayer of Salvation
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry, and I repent. I ask you to forgive me.
I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give it to you. From this day forward, help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you.
I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
Amen.
