Ring stamps are difficult to get a good shot of unless you have a good camera. Cell phones won't do. But 18kt h.g.e., that means it is heavily electroplated 18k gold, not actually 18kt gold solid. For a vintage piece, that is great quality to find! It is generally steps above gold plated and it is much more difficult to wear the gold color down, if ever.
