Issued to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Girl Scouting in the United States, this issue pictures 14 different Girl Scout badges.

In 1912, Juliette Gordon Low founded the first Girl Scout troop of 18 girls.

By 1915, there were 5,000 members, and the number had grown to 40,000 by 1920. Since that time, over 52 million girls and adults have participated.
