Description

The listing, Men’s XL Blue Thermal-8 Sweatpants New Without Tag has ended.

Hello everyone, it seems Listia has implemented new changes. This will be the final time I list items for 99 points. With the current inflation, I'm not earning any profit. In fact, I'm only just covering shipping costs. It's clear why the site is losing members. They've stopped offering rewards, now only providing Amazon gift cards for a high number of points. The conversion rate is as follows: 300 points are equivalent to $0.10, and 3,000 points equal $1.00. Following this auction, I will have to set higher starting bids as I cannot continue to give away items for free. Since everyone here uses PayPal, they can cover their own shipping costs. Otherwise, how can I sustain paying for everything? The starting bid is intentionally low to encourage high and frequent bidding. The essence of an auction is to bid generously and outdo the competition. Be sure to check out my other listings for some great deals. As per usual, shipping is free within the USA. Best of luck and happy bidding. God Bless.

I just saw the changes here yesterday & even asked another Listian friend if they knew what was going on since I saw no notices of the changes before they were made this time. She didn't know what was going on either. I don't blame you a bit for having to change your policies. Hopefully people will still bid on your listings:) God bless!

It's unsurprising that many are unaware of the ongoing changes on this site over the years. The frequent policy shifts seem to favor the platform, making it increasingly difficult for users to profit. Inflation is rampant here, and the sudden increase in point rates without any notice or warning from their blog is telling. Consequently, a growing number of users are abandoning the site.

I know LOTS of longtime Listians who have sold on here from the start have tried to get them to go back to the old ways but they never do so I seriously doubt that will ever happen. people are just too greedy nowadays. Listia is one of those groups unfortunately.

Count me among those who yearn for Listia to revert to its original format, where credits could be converted into cash minus a small fee for their revenue. I concur that greed is rampant, which explains the state of the world. It's essential for people to scale back and find contentment and happiness with their possessions. This is the reason I'm selling everything; I no longer want or need these items. It's time to downsize the accumulation of the last 60 years as I approach retirement. Hopefully, Listia will take notice.

Yes, I've considered quitting several times over the past few years. I wish they'd stayed like they were in 2014 when I joined.

If a significant number of people lodge complaints and request the return of Listia's original format, there's a chance that Listia might reconsider. However, the outlook isn't very promising if the site can't generate revenue. This is likely why they've increased the point rates, aiming to attract more buyers with more points but less cash. Unfortunately, these points can't be used for Amazon gift cards or certain other categories. Only time will tell.
