To make a whole bracelet you usually need at least 15 charms total, but that number varies depending on the charms and the size of the bracelet. If you look at my bracelet photos you can count the number of charms on them to get an idea.

I have a bracelet that has some euro beads without core centers. Do you know if the core centers can be purchased without the bead??

I have asked this question on yahoo answers.com, but never got an answer. Would you happen to know?

Yes, you can buy the cores but it's hard to say if the cores you receive will fit the charms. Did the cores fall out, or did your charms come without them? Sometimes they do. Honestly, once they are on a bracelet they look just the same. Perhaps you should just use the charms the way they are.

Do these beads have "925" engraved on the side of the hole?

Yes, they do, but they are not sterling. Many of these inexpensive charms have 925 stamped on the cores, but I know for a fact they are not sterling, just silver plated. So I don't promote them as such. This is true for other inexpensive (i.e. non-brand-name) Euro charms on LIstia (ebay also) and elsewhere. So please be aware you get what you pay for.

If you want high quality Euro charms with sterling solid cores, the only way to get those reliably is at a jewelry store, and those charms start at about $20 EACH and go up depending on the charm. I think my inexpensive charms are JUST as pretty on a bracelet, and you can buy as many as you want and have lots to play with on your bracelet ... MUCH more fun than worrying about paying a big bill for them!

Ok. I understand what you mean. Some of the cores fell out and some of the bracelets from listia I won did not have them. So I guess it would be hard to find the core for those beads.

I will watch this auction and if I miss the ending I will check your other one once its listed. I had an idea for a few rainbow beads and then add some of the solid colors like your beautiful blue and green auctions, but I think I would like to have a bracelet with all rainbow also.

Yes, the cores on these inexpensive charms are two individual pieces of metal and sometimes they come unglued from the inside of the charm and they fall out ... you can just tuck the core back in, maybe glue it if you want, if you can find it! The expensive brand-name charms have solid (one piece) corese that can't fall out. But they are really expensive, and I think for most people, the inexpensive charms are just as pretty and of course, much more practical to afford.

All of my charms have their cores intact, but if I have a charm with a missing core I often will send it to a winner as an EXTRA ... they can use it or throw it out if they want to. So if you win charms from me, they will all have the proper cores when I ship them (and if one doesn't it will be an extra).

For the beads that I have had that has fell out before I bought a strong bonding glue for them. But I never knew about these bracelets or beads until I saw listia and your profile and I am crazy about them.

You can get Euro charms from other sellers cheaper on Listia, in some cases, but a lot of Listia buyers keep coming back to my listings, because I ship with appropriate postage and packaging, and with rare exception everything gets what they paid for!
