Free shipping (United States) Local pick up available
Listia has undergone numerous changes over the years, and they've once again adjusted the point-to-dollar rate. Remember, 300 points equate to 10 cents, and 3,000 points to $1.00. It's clear that paying for shipping isn't popular on this site. Currently, I'm looking to downsize my possessions. The starting bids are low to attract more bidders. Don't wait until the last minute to bid; you might forget, and someone else could snag the item at a steal. Items are listed once—if unsold, they're discarded, as there's nowhere to donate them in my area. To prevent waste, please bid fairly. I offer free shipping, which is costly; this year, I've spent over $5,000 on shipping for sales from this site. I'm aiming to earn as many points as possible. To sweeten the deal, if bids surpass 10,000 points, I'll throw in a free gift. Free shipping is available across the USA. Good luck to the eventual winner!

With the auction ending in less than a week, reaching over 10,000 points will earn you a complimentary gift. Don't forget, there's free shipping on this stylish t-shirt. Continue placing your bids—don't hold off until the final day or you might just miss your chance.

Congratulations! You've exceeded the 10,000-point mark and have earned a complimentary gift :)
Thank you for the compliments. It's often strategic to initiate bidding at a lower price point to encourage higher bids later. Adding an incentive usually seals the deal, as most people enjoy receiving a complimentary gift.
Many people are discouraged from bidding when the starting bid is set high. They often don't even consider it. It's clear that users on this site aim to spend the least amount possible, preferably with free shipping. The reality is, this platform caters to individuals on disability or those not in employment, who engage in bartering. That's the reason I include free gifts as an incentive, which usually attracts more bids, often exceeding my expectations. There's also a suggestion to sell items in tiered lots rather than individually, as buyers tend to spend more points when they see the full offer. Only time will tell if I choose this approach.
Yeah I understand that and I had to learn to adjust my items and bidding to match that type of thing. I am still making adjustments as time moves forward. There are people that try to take advantage of low bidding starting points even when they have points to spend to cover paying full price. I catch them all of the time.
I understand and agree with your points. Unfortunately, regardless of our desires, there are individuals who exploit others on this site to gain benefits without giving anything in return. It's disheartening to witness people wasting valuable points on items of little or no worth.
I'm considering the tiered approach as I have numerous valuables that are no longer necessary, and I am optimistic about its potential success. I may also attempt a Mystery option, but that would require listing an item of significant value.
