This phone will not work for metro pcs. -worked with verizon. Personally had this phone. It's a good phone, but not for first timers on smart phones. It's sturdy, and has a great resolution. One of my favorite phones I've owned, but I went through 3 in a weekend. I can partially blame Verizon for that. The only issues known with these phones is the screen going out, which is common with all first generation smart phones. Moral of the story, this is a good bid.
