This bracelet was purchased last Saturday 10/12/2012 at Indiana's Historic Covered Bridge Festival. I purchased the piece as I thought it would be a great gift for my 16 year old niece however being a teen she had no problem telling me she did not like it. It is handcrafted artisan designed with real gemstone pieces 5 to be exact. Each piece is about the size of a U.S. nickel. The bracelet is made by an Indian who not only makes instruments to support his tribe but makes jewelry as well. This piece cost $40.00 it is handcrafted and I can tell a lot of time went into making this piece. The silver is not marked however, I have sensitive skin and I wore the bracelet for an a couple hours just to see if I would turn "green" or break out. I didn't. The bracelet measures about 7 1/2 inches long and that includes the clasp. It is also bold and measures approx. an 1 inch wide. The detail around each stone is incredible. I am going to try to include more photos as I feel it is a wonderful piece not only great because it is real gemstone but because of the time and heart that went into creating this piece to support a tribe.
