boy, glad I asked. My son just bought a shirt similar to this but different brand in an XL and it measures 28 armpit to armpit, so quite a difference. Thanks for measuring it for me.

was wondering if you would check the measurement across the chest area. I checked a men's size chart that said an XL should be 46-48 inches in the chest area. Thanks again! Really like this shirt but want to make sure it will fit my chesty son! lol

am measuring 23 inches across from underarm to underarm. Tommy's have a tendency to fit smaller, that is just the way they are.
