I love Octos, and always wanted to write them into one of my novels, so I made this little palm-sized creature as an inspiration. I made up the pattern and crocheted this one from multicolored yarn, because these guys can change colors like this.
Octopus are solitary creatures, but if the bidding goes over 2,000, I will add another palm-sized animal to this auction. (I do a variety of small animals like seals, turtles, monkeys, frogs, etc.) If bidding goes over 4,000 I will add a third little charmer, and continue to add one additional hand-sized animal for each additional 2,000 credits.
