i got this on here on listia, but then received a cam from my hubby so i dont need this one anymore. so if you were bidding before here is your chance again. no, it didnt come with software and the lady i got it from said that you do not need the usb because it has a memory card... hope that helped.

USB cords are needed to transfer the photos to your computer if you don't have a card reader, just so you know.

well im not sure cause the cam i have now all i have to do is stick my memory card into my computer and i upload my photos that way.

Yes, that's because you have a card reader on your computer- not all computers have card readers, in which case, a USB cord is necessary to transfer data. Card readers also break easily- I've never had a card reader on a CPU tower last more than two years on my computers, so even having a card reader is no guarantee that you don't need a USB cord at some point.

ok well then in that case i guess you would need a usb but i have had the same computer for a long time and nothing like that ever happened to me... but i guess the people that are bidding on this would know that already from the info i have given. thanks for your input!!!

You can also get a portable card reader. I have one that looks like a flash drive but takes memory cards from all different sizes. It was less than $50 at best buy last year. Nice listing.
