It has a pace all its own and has stuck with me for almost 25 years now! Probably my favorite John Carpenter film.

Gotta love Hot Roddy Piper in this! That's when we first saw it too. For a while the movie was out of circulation so when we saw it on ebay we bought it for $60. Of course 2 months later it was available again.

I remember when this movie was out of print and people were paying big $ for it. Roddy Piper is really good in it. He autographed a couple of pictures of his character in "They Live" (John Nada) for me through the mail, and he signed one of them with his line from the movie - "I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick... And I'm all out of bubblegum!" I didn't get to meet him but he was at Texas Frightmare Weekend this year. For anyone in the Dallas area, Dee Wallace of "The Howling" and Danny Trejo of "Machete", "From Dusk Till Dawn", etc. will be at TFW in 2013! I'd like to meet them both.
