The listing, SKYLANDERS CYNDER -SERIES 2- (orange base) has ended.

Skylanders Cynder, series 2. Has an orange base instead of the green base. It's posed differently than the Cynder with the green base. Trading card and sticker with the online game code are included. (has not been used) Cynder came with the Skylanders Giants starter pack that I bought today, and I do not need him because I already have a Cynder with the green base that I bought earlier this year.

-Figures Are Universal And Will Work With Any Game System As long as you have the Game For That System & The Portal. He will work with the portal you already have from the original Skylanders game, and he will work with the portal from the new Skylanders Giants game.

it's a lot of fun, you can use all of the older skylanders, plus the new regular sized series 2 skylanders for the original skylanders game, or the new skylanders Giants game, but, the Giants only work if you have the new game disc. The new game comes in a starter pack which includes a portal if you don't have one, it comes with TREE REX, and a regular sized new skylander called Jet-vac, and of course comes with Cynder newly posed with it's orange base. They also have a portal owners pack that is cheaper if you already have a portal, but it only comes with TREE REX.

just to clarify, the portal owners pack that i mentioned in my comment earlier does also include the new game, but as far as characters go, it just includes TREE REX.

The portal owners pack only having Tree Rex was a disappointment, especially still priced at $60. The full pack for $75 is a better buy, with Jet Vac, and Cynder included. (We got it at Walmart to grab the exclusive Glow in the dark Cynder.) The new portal is worth the extra $15 in itself. It's wired so no more batteries, and it's revamped with a clear grey plastic that shows the lighting effects through it.

Gameplay is solid, and the levels have much more to find. Going to make a run at this Cynder to have both versions, but won't bid as high as for the guys we don't have at all yet.

I also do want to mention that any of the original characters that are out with their orange base and different poses do work with both games and they are called series 2. The new regular sized characters such as fright rider, pop fizz, chill or shroom boom will only work with the new Giants game.
