This is a 2010 Topps Legends Platinum Chrome card for Braves pitcher and Hall of Famer Warren Spahn.

Warren is one of the few players to ever receive Hall of Fame votes while he was still an active pitcher, in 1958!

Warren appeared on 17 All-Star teams.
He led the league in wins 8 times.
He was a perennial Cy Young candidate, winning in 1957 ... so good that a 23-7 mark with a 2.60 ERA in 1963 was considered a disappointment (!!!).
He won 363 games, even considering that he took 3 years off to fight in World War II.
Many say Warren was the best starting pitcher of the modern era. I certainly can't argue that he belongs in that conversation.
