The winner of this auction will receive free photo editing services for (1) DIGITAL (not hard copy) or digitally scanned photograph. This could involve fixing / restoring old family photos like those pictured, removing blemishes, adjusting color, etc. A service like this could cost upwards of $30-80 depending on the state of your original photograph. Don't throw your money away elsewhere. Win this auction and I'll do the work for free!

A typical photo repair or photo enhancement involves fixing or adjusting your photograph to obtain the best possible restored image. All changes are made to a digital copy of the photo to be repaired. The original image would only used to obtain a scanned copy for editing when necessary.

(Scanning - I know how to use a scanner)

- In the preview window, select just the photo (no white showing around the photo).
- Choose the color photo setting (even for black and white photos).
- Turn all enhancements off.
- Set resolution quality to high photo quality, 300 or 600 DPI.
- Save the file as a high quality JPEG or TIFF (or similar).
- Email photos (I will provide the email address upon auction end).

(Scanning - I'm not too comfortable using a scanner or don't have one)

If you are unable to obtain a good scan following the above instructions you can take your photo to a copy shop (like Staples or Kinko's) and have them do it for you. Provide them with the instructions above and ask them to save it on a memory stick or CD, in RGB format. Then e-mail the file to me for restoration.
