Why is it laminated? And what set?

It is laminated b/c I used to be in love with pikachu, and wanted to preserve the card. It was the only card I ever collected. I don't know much about "sets" but on the back of the card, it says "Basic Pokemon: Pikachu" 50 HP, "Spark: If your opponent has any benched pokemon, choose 1 of them and this attack does 10 damage to it." "20" "When several of these pokemon gather, their electricity can build and cause lightning storms."

^Not sure about from US to Canada, but to mail envelopes from Canada to the US it needs two stamps instead of one.. You should check the post office website if they have one there, that's where I found out the prices.

A 1 oz letter From US to Canada is $0.75 (so yup, 2 stamps would be fine).
