Description

The listing, **GORGEOUS MINK COAT! THE REAL THING!** has ended.

YOU could have this GORGEOUS mink coat! Perfect for winter coming! It's so warm, you'll never be cold!

This coat is for a small to medium framed woman.

The pictures show the front of the coat, the label (to prove that it IS a real mink coat!), the closure hooks (which also show that it is real), the inside of the coat, one of the pockets (there's one on each side), the back of the coat and the bottom inside of the coat.

I can assure you that this IS an authentic, very well cared for full length mink coat. Worth a lot of money, and YOU will look like a million bucks wearing it!

Unfortunately, I am disabled and TRYING to support myself and 2 teenagers (WHEW!!), so I cannot afford shipping. I will, however, be shipping this out in a long flat-rate shipping box and, of course, there will be tracking! Flat rate would be cheaper than them weighing it! It is a heavy coat! But it doesn't feel like it when it's on!

Everything that I will be listing over the next few weeks MUST go! I just don't have the room for it, and honestly, I need the points to help pay for my daughter's wedding and for Christmas coming up. So please, since I don't have my seller's wings yet, please bid reasonably (like what YOU would expect to get for this beauty).

Please, be polite. Do NOT post negative comments.

Now...Happy Bidding!

OH! I know this question will come up....no...there are no rips or holes in this coat. Nor is the fur falling out, and there are no "bald" spots. It is in PERFECT condition! I guarantee you'll love it. What a perfect gift for yourself after all of the Holiday preparations that you'll have done!

I'm making a fur blanket out of recycled coats. I love your coat, but sadly don't have the points needed to bid. But I had to tell you how beautiful it is and wish you luck on your auction. :)

Thank you! And I will be listing another coat...a fox fur coat that has been ripped and not nearly as well taken care of for much less points for just craft projects in a day or two. Check back!

Man I thought this would be over 10k credits by now! I may have to buy some credits and get it myself to wear. I'm all about animals but its cold here in WI and these mink are probably as old as my car lol!! I have no issue buying vintage furs and I don't get ppl who do.

I live in Wisconsin, too...and I have worn this coat just a couple of times when it was like 20 below zero with the windchill. Let me tell you...I was just fine! It wasn't cold outside to me! Guess that's why the animals can handle the temperature.
I don't know why someone would want to pass up on such a beautiful coat. And with NOTHING wrong with it! This has been professionally "cleaned", oiled and stored every year (most of the time for the whole year) and is just like it was bought from the store yesterday.
Some lucky girl is going to see this and bug her man to just snatch it up....and when you look at the cost of credits vs what the credits "look" like (10,000 looks like a lot, but we're not talking cash here!), someone's going to definately get it for a steal!

Well you know fur is not "PC", but this is not a brand new coat and nothings gonna bring these mink back, yanno? :)
I had a pet mink and let me tell you if people knew how vicious they can be I'm sure they'd have less issue with their fur lol! I'm kidding of course I loved my minky boy, but yeah I still can appreciate a gorgeous coat even if I wouldn't buy it new from the store.

I wouldn't buy one either....but that's just because I can't afford it!! lol!! Yeah, I know it's not "PC", and I'm even a member of the National Humane Society and PETA. But like I say....I'm not the one who "procured" the fur, so hopefully people won't hold it against me with this auction. It is a beautiful coat. And if anyone wants to even just "feel" like they're rich (you know, get out of reality for awhile! lol!), all they have to do is put this on. I wore it out once and got so many compliments. I wore this along with a beautiful sparkling silver dress (for New Year's Eve), put my hair up and felt like I was worth every penny of at least 2 million! I actually felt like I had money, even though I live off disability (try supporting yourself, your disabled daughter AND her now fiance' who only can find a job that'll only give him anywhere between one and 3 nights a week worth of work on $1500 a month when your rent is $1200!). I felt great and had the BEST night because I FELT great! All because of a dress I found on clearance sale because it was missing a rhinestone (which I just took one out of an old necklace and glued it in...it looked and fit perfect!) for $5 and this coat! I hate to get rid of it, but I don't go many places anymore, so it just sits there collecting dust all winter (even though it's in one of those plastic underbed storage bags) and then is put into storage during the summer. What's the point in having it then? I want someone to have it who will enjoy all of the benefits this coat can and will bring to someone. Since my health started getting worse and with my daughter getting married (I hope to find everything I need for her on here, and I'm ordained so I'll be doing the ceremony), and then I'm sure they'll be wanting to move out, I have to downsize EVERY room...and I'm being BRUTAL with it! (Except my Packer stuff! THAT goes NOWHERE! lol!!!).

Hi! Such a pretty coat! Question - I need to know what the measurement is straight across underarm to underarm. Would you be able to do that please? Thanks so much!
Oct 27th, 2012 at 7:34:30 PM PDT by
Original
I couldn't find my sewing measuring tape, so I had to use regular 12" rulers, and the very top of it is approximately 18". Underarm is approximately 22" across. Hope that helps. Sure wish I knew where my seamstress measuring tape went! lol!
