Questions & Comments
I know this is kind of odd, but I am looking into homeschooling my now 2 year old... he has epilepsy and is delayed... what do you use... I cant find anything for younger than 5
Depend on what you are looking for. I had work with kids with variety of disabilities in the past. To be honest, we usually make things to teach each kid with. For example, letters, I make flash cards. One set for capital letters. One set for small letters. I will teach that they are the same letters. I will ask the child to match them. If he doesnt know , we talk about it. If it counting, I make flash card of number one through 10. I will get some toys. I say what number is this. One. Ok, let count one car. I put one car under the number one. Next is two. We need two cars. Let count and put two cars under this number. for counting, I will start with one through 3 so your child wont be overwhelm at first. Once he get the idea and done well, then add to 4 and five. If you teaching colors. Have him match colors with the two set of cards. If he did really well, ask him to find something around the room that match that color. very basic and easy to make. Hope this help. It is not odd to ask me. :)
