Up for bid is a crucifix on a chain, purchased at an estate auction.
The chain is very nice, being a rope-style (no clasp). Chain is 24” (12” drop) and the crucifix measures another 2”. Neither the chain or crucifix stick to my strong magnet.
The cross itself has a pewter appearance, but I find no markings on this. I can’t imagine making something that appears to be of some quality, and not marking it.
I enlarged a portion of the curb chain, as it’s a really neat chain, but note – it does slip over your head.
Smoke-free item.
