they are a screw on type earring so if someone has pierced ears they would have to take out their earring to wear them..

My ears are pierced, and I wear this type of earring. I like them, because the screw allows you to adjust the tension.

They are as long as I don't screw them on too tightly. Lol. I have found that with screw backs and clip ons both, if I wear them all day my lobes will hurt. But for a few hours, it's fine. I am planning on bidding, but it will have to wait. All my credits are tied up right now. Lol, I spend them as quick as I get them.
