These earrings are stamped and dangle about 1 inch. I won't lie l. I have worn these 4 or 5 times... However I have sterilized and cleaned these with rubbing alcohol for a few moments with a clean q tip. I have never had any piercing infections, issues etc. I didn't soak them because I do not know if any glue was used to help hold the stone in place.

Anyway, whether they are new earrings or used it is a good idea to sterilize them before putting them in. In my opinion this applies to all body jewelry.

The topaz is eye clean, there are no scratches on any part of the earring. If you look closely at the second picture on the hook of the right earring you can see evidence of a hallmark that says .925. That is the best picture I can take of it.
