LOL... I can totally understand your confusion... it IS confuxing. lol... ok so a Boys Shoe Size 1 is equal to a Boys Sock Size 8... so yes, 8 is within that range of 6-9&1/2 ... in sock sizes :) So yup, these should fit him. hehe hope I was helpful
