Yes! I had to get another cord for my car charger and it was almost 30$! It's ridiculous. But it does charge a LOT faster. Also if your phone does, as soon as you plug it in it turns on right away instead of having to wait 10 minutes

Yes it fits it. I had an iPhone 4S. The dock connector changed on the iPhone 5 so mine doesn't fit anymore
