look for stamps like 925 or sterling on the ends. or take to jewelry store and they can test them. silver would also be non magnetic. and usually if the links are soldered then they are made of silver. if the links are not soldered then its probably a stronger type of metal

No there are No stamps it's like costume jewelry... just a pretty set I received but already have something similar :)
