The listing, Scholastic Children's Dictionary has ended.

Scholastic Children's Dictionary, 648 page hardcover, like new (backside of front cover has person's name in magic marker). Features: Most current computer, scientific, and cultural terms, easy to understand definitions, pronunciation system created with real kids in mind, updated for today's kids. (Nice, heavy!)

Please note: We do combine shipping: combined postage reduced amounts depend upon the number of light and heavy items and the way we have to pack them. The combined amount is my decision. We always post an amount for each auction; you should expect to pay that amount and be pleased with any discount we give. If you are going to be upset because we charge too much shipping, please do not bid. If this sounds "harsh" please read the bad feedbacks posted for me by people who have not listed as many auctions in a year as I have had won in a single day. We love PayPal and accept checks, MOs, USPS stamps, and cash (not recommended).

I may have to deliver that one personally.....or find a crate to ship it in: it weighs a ton!!!! I have only skimmed it, but I think it is a nice publication.....but then what do I know about things for todays kids. Most grade school kids know about things today that I did not know when I graduated from high school!!!! I hope to get a big lot of posting done this week, but I am trying to locate and ship everything that should be gone first. Keep looking....better things are on the way.

I find it better to just combine auctions to fill whatever box is around....of if just a book or two, we use padded envelopes. I am planning to try to find time today/tonight to make up "statements" for all of you heavy bidders and suggest combined auctions and postage. The PO has not said anything because we are within their limits, but some of the boxes leaving here are kinda large and heavy!! I can't wait to go digging in the storeroom for new auction books. Some already sitting here, waiting. Thanks again for being understanding and we are surely going to get this place set up right this go round. Jay

yep :) you just let me know how it ends up. i am getting my feet wet with shipping as i just ended my first round of auctions. that was quite a learning experience! i have nothing but complete respect for people who deal with that on a regular basis! woo :)
