Go to BALANCES and reload points, 8000 PTS will cost you $1.00, 80,000 PTS will cost you $10.00 plus they will give you a small bonus. Please check it out for yourself.

You are correct, however if you purchase a win and you are short pints, you will pay money at an exchange rate of 8000 PTS to a $1.

In my opinion Purchasing points on here is a risk . It’s much easier to list a gift card for the same amount your purchasing of listia and get more for it

in my opinion points are run by gift card price . I just don’t get enough points as gift card prices plus shipping takes up another 7+ with tracking so I would say points are at 25 k-32k per dollar at the moment

Interesting conversation thread. One factor to consider in valuing the Listia points is the monetary exchange for points. Since Listia no longer redeems points for Amazon cards; whatever Amazon and other gift cards sold or auctioned for on Listia is the true intrinsic value of the points. This perspective has the value of Listia's points at far less than aforementioned.

They do keep raising the amount for points, it is ridiculous.

Right now this quarter is at 45,250 PTS, divided by 8000, means this quarter is at $5.65625 right at this moment. Sometimes you will notice people over pay points to value. I have asked them, first of all we cannot cash them in, so with a large amount of points we buy what we can.

Overview
That statement describes the approximate value of Listia credits on their platform, where 3,000 credits roughly equate to a value of $1.00 USD. This value is used within the Listia ecosystem for bidding on items and is based on the historical "value" of credits offered when purchasing them directly from the site.
