First of all, your rude statement was to my twelve year old daughter. I was allowing her to look for a present for herself with my points as SHE is listing items on Listia that belong to HER. Second of all, she knows to ask the condition of an item if a seller doesn't expressly say in the listing that it is in perfect condition from our past bad experience on ebay. She picked out bedding once on ebay that they claimed was barely used- but was seriously stained and ebay did nothing. I was out the money for her birthday present and I had a dissapointed little girl who is now all the wiser. Maybe you shouldn't rush to quick judgements and be on the defensive as she meant no disrespect- she was only trying to protect herself. I wouldn't think you would want to be judged adversely yourself like I feel you did to my daughter and I. And I would think that teaching our youth to protect and respect themselves is of higher importance than a few possible ruffled feathers.
