Description
The listing, 35 Boxwood Basil Seeds has ended.
35 freshly harvested boxwood basil seeds. Introduced in 2008, boxwood basil (Ocimum basilicum "Boxwood") is actually a variety of sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum). The new boxwood variety resembles the boxwoods of hedges and formal gardens more than it does the traditional basil growing among the tomatoes. It is a hardy grower.
Questions & Comments
can you use these in cooking or is it purely ornamental?
Oh no, I use them in cooking all the time. I actually like it better than the regular sweet basil because the leave are very small and i don't have to tear or slice them to use. They are also very pretty plants in the garden!
