I got this recipe from a neighbor about 20 years ago. It is chunky and flavorful and always hits the right spot when your craving a comforting and satisfying soup. I make it with beef or chicken. It's one of those "down home" recipes that are hard to find. It's made from scratch and I love to serve it with cornbread! I like to make a double batch and put the leftovers in Mason jars to put in the fridge for warming later. The winner of this auction will be sent the recipe in their Listia mail.
