If you love original jewelry, then this is the ring for you! This long, crystal poison ring (size 8) is absolutely stunning!! A real eye catching piece, with a gothic style that makes a bold statement.

The gemstone highlighted on this ring is a magnificent smoky plum colored Swarovski crystal. When the light hits the crystal, the deep, reddish plum color is stunning.
The crystal is mounted upon a hinged chamber that remains securely closed until pulled gently open to reveal the interior of the chamber. The ring is composed of a silver metal and the hinges are made of copper.

The underside of this ring has several distinct markings including the distinct logo of the production company, ALCHEMY, surrounded by a rose. This ring was produced in 2003 by Alchemy Carta LTD in England. In addition, there is one more marking, of the letter "Q", however, I do not know what this mark represents.

Historically, poison rings were secretly filled with arsenic and was often referred to as "Inheritance Powder". In more modern times, these rings are now often used to hold a lock of hair or a cherished photograph.
