The listing, RARE Antique/Vintage Small Staved Barrel, Cask; Primitive Wooden Keg has ended.

All I know is what I see personally and what I've found online which isn't much because you just can't find the OVAL shaped ones like THIS. PLEASE DON'T Complain about the shipping because it IS Acturate. ESPECIALLY IF you're NOT bidding Anyway. Just Move On because Everything (if you bother to look at measurement or even Understand them) CAN NOT fit in a Flat rate box!! PICTURED for those in disbelief

It weighs 18 pounds 13 1/2 ounces, and will cost $22.31 PARCEL post and $46.75 PRIORITY...you choose.

There are No previous owners marks that I can see. I don't know if it held Rum, Whiskey,Water,Wine,etc. It has Iron Band Rings and still has the Original Cork/Plug. And LOOK at that Beautifil PATINA on this thing.

It does however have 1 of the iron bands Missing, that's the way it was when I got it. So I'm selling it AS IS.

For your convenience the measurements are in pictures. And still has it's spigot. Lets see you try to find one EXACTLY like it.

I DO NOT know the exact age of this piece as it was NOT Originally mine.

I accept PP=paypal and All other mailing types such as CC=concealed Cash, USPS Postal money orders, and USPS Postage Stamps to be place on box.

mailing out friday, I mail on monday and friday mornings.
shipping applies to US 50 States, others pay exact for them.

Nice....FYI most of these smaller casks with spouts were used in the kitchen for fermenting vinegar...these bands can be replaced...whoever wins this auction..I know a blacksmith that does outstanding primitive work....

Boy...you couldn't have said it better about the shipping. I have seen so many people complain about so much here at Listia. It's ridiculous and especially most of the complainers complain just to complain. This is the best auction site on the internet and when you are getting something for free anyway, they can just move on to something else like you said. Bravo...I love it when someone stands their ground and I wish you nothing but the best on your auctions, I would be bidding on this one myself but I am so credit poor right now I'll have to build up my credits before bidding on anything for a while. I don't know, I selling it as is, plus I noted in the description that there is a band missing. All I Know is it's REALLY old, and the measurements and other info is in the ad. I don't test ANYTHING except electronics Before listing. sorry, but it's a WONDERFUL conversation piece ...wouldn't you agree.
