The lens is adjustable so you can take the best pictures or recording you like.I haven't used it on a computer in a long time but it works great with the xbox.

this is what you had to use before the kinect, it was used for a few games but mainly to chat and take pictures of yourself for your gamertag pic. this is a very good xbox accessory.
