this is a BEAUTIFUL whatche! It is a gold tone ARMITRON NOW. It is made with Swiss parts (stamped on the back) and stainless steal back. In each link there are 8 crystal stones. IT DOES need a battery! I wore this watch till the battery was dead lol. I have had it going on 5 yrs now and it still looks great and no signs of tarnish at all. It was a gift from my X husband :{
