In addition to the excellent writing of T.R.R. Tolkien, this book contains many delightful, detailed pictures. Unfortunately, my camera doesn't take great pictures (as you obviously can see the glare spots from the light) and this makes it difficult to really appreciate these pictures. In addition, this book may appear to be missing an outer decorated cover, but the book did not come with any outer cover.

If you have previously enjoyed reading other J.R.R. Tolkien books, you will definitely want to grab this book!!!
