The listing, YARN: Vintage Pauline Denham Floralies--Green has ended.
This is a 50 gram (about 1.5 ounce), 155 yard skein. It was manufactured in France for Pauline Denham yarns and is now a discontinued item. The color is listed as "Laurier" which translates loosely to "laurel" or "bay leaf". The color is a green/charcoal color. It is 76% wool, 17% mohair and 7% vinyon. I've added a second picture so you can see the texture of the yarn. It is a thin strand with little nubs and fibers coming from it. Very unusual! You could knit or crochet with it, or perhaps use it in crafts or for package decoration.The yarn has been kept in a smoke-free, pet-free, fragrance-free household. I did get it in a box with lots of other yarn, so I'm not sure if it was a smoke free home before it came to me. It has no smoke odor (or any other odor) that I can detect.
