This is a Sony Watchman Manufactured July 1986,you can go to www.eshow.com for step by step introductions how to covert it from analog to digital
Model number FD-2A
has both VHF an UHF slider,brightness knob,ear phone jack input,ac adapter outlet,control slider high,medium,low,tuning,power sound-tv slider,volume,uses 4 AA batteries,pull out stand, telescopic antenna not bent

The last time I used it it worked but that was before the changeover to digital,so you can't turn it on until you convert it but I'm sure it still works

It's black and white not color
no scratches,cracks,dings

the one pictured is gray this one is black,it's the same model though

sorry I do not have the adapter cord or instruction manual ,it's really easy to understand

jettrink...you say you dont have the adapter...question: does that mean no charger? wasnt sure. does it take batteries?

well no adapter means you can't plug it into a wall socket(AC/DC) a simple search and you might find one you'll have the model number and yes it takes 4 AA batteries...thanks for asking

myke187,what I meant by the adapter was you can't plug it into a wall socket,run it off regular AC/DC house current although you might be able to get one somewhere ,and yes it takes 4 AA batteries....thanks for asking
