The listing, 1870s Bureau of Indian Affairs Wyoming Territory Metal Corpse Tag has ended.
VERY RARE! AMERICAN INDIAN AFFAIRS TAG, a metal tag from the Bureau of Indian Affairs Wyoming Territory Corpse tag. Stamped in very small letters on the end edge is "Property of U.S. Government". The tag measures about 3 1/2 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches wide. Wyoming was organized as a Territory in 1869 (not a State yet) and a Bureau of Indian Affairs was immediately created as well. The tags were issued to use on American Indians from the U.S. Calvary. Here's your chance to own a piece of our American history.
