I use a combination of wool and acrylic yarn which is very easy to take care of.Mittens feature a cable stich along the top and when stretched out go to just below the elbow . Hi thank you for the compliment :) yes knitting cables is tricky but easy once you get the hang of it. Believe me i understand about the time factor it seems everytime I sit down to knit I hear "MOM" lol. Good luck on the auction.!!
