One large (16" SQ.) vintage Vera napkin. Never used, still has the tag on from Jordan Marsh. Her linens are very popular today. Some people mix and match her designs as long as the all have the same colors. She is known for her bright bright colors, and powerful flower designs. People seek these item out at fleamarkets, tag sales etc.
Her napkins are large and this could easily be the front of a bright and pretty throw pillow, if you know how to sew, something i never learned, darn. The colors are a linen color background, It may well be actually a linen material its made of linen, a very bright orange and yellow in the flowers and two shades of green on the leaves and stems. The edges are surged in a medium green. It is just beautiful and would make a wonderful throw pillow.

I think this might be a scarf. Back then, VERA made scarves, too and I've had several over the years. Hard to tell without holding it, but it's pretty nonetheless. :)

no I have several of her scarves. This is definately a napkin, also her napkins average 16 inches square. I have just listed one of her scarves in my auctions, take a look. Beautiul colors

Is there staining along the bottom of the napkin in your first photo? It's really pretty otherwise!

I leaned the napkin up against my computer screen to show the design and that is my screen showing thru not any stains.
sorry for the confusion, the napkin is perfect with no stains, rips, tears, holes, odors, or any other damage. thanks for all your interest in it. They say homemade gifts are the best gifts. So heres to happy sewing!!
