Offered is a mid 1900s milk bottle cap that was issued as part of a series of Presidents of the United States.

It is 1 1/4" in diameter hardboard cardboard that would have sealed a glass bottle of milk, likely delivered door to door. The small flap, as made, was there to lift the cap from the bottle.

Shows TR Teddy Theodore Roosevelt Republican GOP as OUR 26th PRESIDENT with a blue image portrait and a red, white and blue banner shield below. Also shows his dates of office from 1901 until 1909 as he succeeded William McKinley who was shot.

A nice cross historical item for collectors of milk bottles, caps, pogs or tokens and political election items and memorabilia. Offering this from my collection.
