COLLECTIBLE STAMPS

This listing is for one (1) sheet of PLAYBOY'S 50th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTIBLE STAMPS in mint condition. This series was issued in December 1993 by the Government of St. Vincent and The Grenadines to commemorate 50 years of PLAYBOY magazine. These stamps had a limited production run of 15,000. Each set has been carefully stored in a clear protective mylar sleeve with acid-free backerboard. Stamps have been stored in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. Stamp sheetlet measures 9.5" x 6" and features six of the magazine's most famous covers (from December 1953 Marilyn Monroe to the January 2004 edition with the golden anniversary logo).

NEW YORK, USA: The Caribbean will only get hotter when a series of international postage stamps depicting 50 years of Playboy's most memorable covers is issued by St. Vincent and the Grenadines. From the 1953 cover of Marilyn Monroe to the January 2004 Gold Anniversary cover, the best of five decades of Playboy will be represented on six individual $1.50 legal tender stamps.Playboy, the first magazine ever to be honored on a stamp, joins the company of other international icons who have been immortalized on St. Vincent stamps including Elvis Presley, Princess Diana and John Lennon. The stamps will be issued by the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on December 1, 2003, and will be available for purchase at any post office in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
