The listing, ROOTED Pink Rose Bush LIVE Plant (Queen Elizabeth?) has ended.
This auction is for a small, live, rooted pink rose bush.
All photos are pictures taken by me. The 2nd photo is the actual bush you will receive.
The rose photos are photos of blooms on the mother rose bush that I cloned this rose bush from.
My mother and I planted this rose when I was a child, I don't remember the exact breed of rose it is, but it came out of a prestigious gardening catalog. I believe it's a Queen Elizabeth. This plant holds a lot of sentiment for me, and I hope you think it is as beautiful as I do!
When you get this bush, you will want to immediately take it out of it's packaging and re-plant it in a pot, with good potting soil, in a terrarium type of environment. The last 2 photos are examples of terrariums. The rose must be kept in this type of environment for humidity. I use a 2gallon zip lock bag, or soda bottle.
When the rose is well established, and has many new leafs and roots, you can gradually start taking it out of it's humid environment for a bit at a time until it gets used to it's new climate. You can then gradually take it outside until it is ready to be planted. This is called "hardening off". You will get much better results if you do this. I recommend keeping it in the house in a window until the danger of frost has passed this spring.
Because this is a live plant, I will do my best to package it very well, and protect it during shipping, however I will not be responsible if anything happens to it during shipping, or if it dies under the new owner's care. Insurance the USPS offers won't cover live plants. Rooting a rose takes months of work and patience on my part, and I just can't afford to replace or refund if the rose is damaged through no fault of my own.
If you'd like it shipped priority mail, or if you'd like to have any other specialty mail services added I will do that for you, but you will have to pay for shipping. I believe I could ship it priority for $5.35.
I hope you enjoy my auction!
