It's concealer, it's used to cover any imperfections in your skin like acne or scars or age spots or anything. I kept the 'Light' shade because I have really fair skin and the Medium and Dark would never work for me, but I use mine every single day and it is awesome, I love it! You only have to use a teeny tiny bit and it covers anything. To give you a comparison, I usually wear like the 'Ivory' shades of makeup and the 'Medium' is like probably two shades darker than the 'Light' that I use. I hope that helps!

Sure, no problem, it's like a primer that you would put on before the concealer and it helps more to smooth out fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, etc. so that your complexion is more even when you put the concealer on
