It is an AA (Alcoholics anonymous) coin we use a lot in gay/lesbian fellowships due to the fact that our sexuality plays a huge part in recovery. Its part of accepting ourselves as human beings in recovery.
I just spoke with a friend, who happens to be gay and asked his opinion. He said it is for them. He stated it basically can mean several things but the top 2 in his opinion were that a person has found acceptance within themselves for their choices, and the other is that the persons family has come to terms with their choices and have accepted it so the family can be whole again.
