Questions & Comments
Just because someone told you a piece is Fenton glass does NOT make it Fenton & unless you can prove it is Fenton you are legally responsible to iform Listia buyers the truth of exactly what they are paying for. NOT someone's uneducated guess about this piece.
patriciareitzcollins, I'm pretty sure your basket is Duncan Miller. It's hard to get a good ID because your pictures aren't very clear. But i think that's what it is.
I am not am/ antique dealer. I know it is over 50 years old. If you like it bid if you want antique guarenteed Fenton don't bid. I just thought it was pretty.
pamelamay1 -- I have several pieces of authentic Fenton that are unmarked. Some I got as wedding gifts. They originally had a sticker with the Fenton name, but to people who used their Fenton pieces, many of them took the sticker off, or it came off when cleaning the piece.
People who want the item will do their research. But to say someone is trying to scam you when you don't even know them, seems unfair. You could message them if you had a question, instead of accusing them in this comment column, which would be nicer.
pamelamay1 yes antique are 100 yrs, old. like i said Fenton did not mark there glass until the 70's so anything you have with a Fenton mark is vintage. There is know way someone can know everything about glass, there is just to much of it. If you are a glass collector you either like the piece or you don't. If you want it you do the research before you buy. I don't believe this lady is trying to scam anyone. Fenton or not it is a beautiful piece.
Antiques are 100 years old for example the piece had to be manufacture before 1912 just to let you know or it is NOT a antique just vintage or collectible. Please ask any antique dealer. It is Internet fraud to say anything is something when it is NOT!
All my beautiful antiques have the Fenton trademark. They all are colored amazing & beautiful glass. NOT clear. Is this auction listing just a scam to attack the innocent buyers on Listia> Sure looks like i.. I will NOT be bidding! Buyers beware of this seller's intentions!
Fenton did not start using the logo until 1972 anything prior to that was not marked. Any dealer should know that. I'm not sure it's Fenton either, but I like it. I will check my Fenton books.

I have never seen Fentonlook lie this. Can you provide proof as well documention & pictures from Fenton books showing this so called Fenton piece. I do not for one second because I am a antique ealer & personally own hundreds of marked beautiful Fenton pieces that this one is not.Does it hav the famous Fenton trademark? If it does not it is NOT Fenton. Sorry.
It was a collector who told me that. I can take Fenton out of auction. If you have a Fenton glass book check it out. It has diagonal marks across the bottom like a star.. she had been to the factory. I'm not trying to cheat anyone.
