I am not familiar with a game-used bat card. What is it exactly? I am a die hard Cardinals fan and have been since the 70's but have never been a collector until now.

YOu see the brown square in the middle...that is a swatch cut out of a bat he used in a game and inserted into the card. The cards like this are much thicker than a normal card to accommodate. I think they are very cool keepsakes. I have others with pieces of jersey's worn in the games. Some autographs and a few that have more than one, such an autograph and a bat piece or jersey swatch.
