The listing, Rose Of Sharon Seeds has ended.
you git 25 seeds but the bigs bider gits a lot more up to 50 so bid high Tree Rose Of Sharon Seeds. It is a member of the Hibiscus family and very versitale and easy to grow. The seeds come from my own trees.. They can grow to 12 feet if you would love them for a privacy fence. Prune after the flowers quit blooming in late summer, early fall to your desired height. You can grow them in pots for your patio or you can prune to a single stem. As you can see in one of the pictures I have some in the shade and some in the sun. The shady was thin the first year. I pruned it to bush in an area where it was hard to grow anything ! They are thriving in both conditions. You may plant in late fall directley in the ground. The seeds are hard so I take manicure scissors and make a little nick in them. I like to start now in trays and then transfer where I want them in the fall.. A little water is all they require. They will have a great start and be established by winter. I would mulch the first year if started in the fall. They can also be planted in early spring. They are not picky about soil. You will have beautiful trees, plants or bushes for many years to come. You can also root very easy buy just planting a branch in the soil with some rooting hormone added or root in a container of water. The trees can also be transplanted any where you would like.
